Lucy Letby: Parents say 'a part of us died' when their baby was murdered

The families of the victims of Lucy Letby have been giving emotional, harrowing accounts of the deaths of their children.

The father of triplet children O and P said he "kept wishing it had happened to me, I would have gladly taken my son's place".

Father of Child G said his daughter would "never have a sleepover with a best friend, or go to high school and graduate".

Another told the court that she hated the fact Letby was the last person to hold their child.

Letby has refused to appear at her sentencing for the murders of seven babies, and the attempted murders of six others.
