Photochronicles aims to connect early history with people of today. We trace stories from ordinary people back through to the early days of European settlement.

In reverse order, we find interesting stories in cemeteries and libraries and trace the stories forward to people living today.

We also attempt to present stories from indigenous cultures and people of the Eora Nation “Eora is the name given by the earliest settlers to a group of Aboriginal people belonging to the clans along the coastal area of what is now known as the Sydney basin, in New South Wales, Australia.” Wikipedia. We present Aboriginal culture with due respect.

Photochronicles videos aim to promote interest in history, culture, architecture and the arts.

Each of our videos is based on a particular subject. We find the subject, go out and photograph the location and any items of interest. We sort through each library of images taken to get the best representation of each subject. Then we match the subject with the story line.

When you get to see a Photochronicles video, you see the most interesting aspects of a subject and read enough details about the subject to keep you interested. We hope that after you have experienced our videos, you take it further and increase your knowledge.
