In recent days, events in Central Asia have clearly shown the true power of society.

In Kazakhstan, a young man named Alibek Karatay, who worked as a cook, was subjected to bullying and was forced to leave his job. His mother spoke about it on social media. She did not remain silent. And something powerful happened.

Thousands of citizens supported him. People began sharing his story, expressing support, and demanding justice. Society united. As a result, the company was forced to respond, and government authorities launched an official investigation.

In Tajikistan, another story showed the same power. For several years, people were criminally prosecuted even for likes and comments on social media. But society and human rights defenders did not remain silent. They spoke out. They demanded justice. And as a result, this practice was reconsidered, and legal changes were introduced.

These examples show the most important truth.

Civil society is the people themselves.

It is people who do not remain silent.

It is people who support one another.

It is people who do not remain indifferent to the suffering of others.

When one person speaks, their voice may be ignored.

But when society speaks, it cannot be ignored.

Solidarity creates public resonance.

Public resonance forces companies, officials, and governments to respond.

Solidarity protects people.

For the citizens of Turkmenistan, it is important to understand: the strength of society lies in unity.

Support is protection.

Solidarity is strength.

And civil society begins with each of us.
