This video goes over the left window in Spyder Studio for the Christie Spyder x80. The example is a two screen show with a Program out and a separate Downstage monitor output, so that the camera feed never hits the downstage monitor. Both screens are 1080p @ 59fps.

It goes over how to add and copy sources, How to add still images, and how to make and apply treatments, which are like property presets for the shape and effects applied to layers/sources.

This video tutorial is part 2 of a series on how to program and operate the Spyder x80 hardware using the Spyder Studio software. I had some questions about the spyder, and had trouble getting some clear answers, and youtube had practically nothing on the x80, so I am trying to fill that need with these videos. Please understand that I am a video engineer for live events, not a video editor. I am going at a slow pace because I want to make it easy for you to follow along, and also, I did not write a script.
