Thanks to a friend, I've finally gotten my hands on the new ‪@BoseProfessional‬ ‪@Bose‬ S1 Pro Plus. Let's pit it side to side vs the ‪@ElectroVoiceOfficial‬ Everse 8.

What do you think?

This is not a perfect test because it's in a quiet home studio setting, but hopefully it provides an indicative direction to help you find which one you like better.

My thoughts...

Bose S1 Pro Plus: Sounds very warm and musical. Vocals sit nicely with the guitar. Guitar cuts through better. Lacking in bass. Watch out for percussion / percussive sounds, it clips rather easily. Plug and play, easy to set up. The wireless transmitters are genius.

Everse 8: Louder and more headroom. Vocals sound kinda flat, probably because it is less colored. Percussion sounds great. Overall mix seems more balanced vs Bose. More customizable options. Somehow I think it'll sound better if you use a mixer. Takes a really long time to connect to the speaker via the app.
