Rangamalai is a cone-shaped hill located on Karur National Highway , Vedasandur Circle , Dindigul District , Tamil Nadu . A Shiva temple known as Malliswarar temple is situated on this hill. Priests climb the hill every morning and come down from the evening to complete the rituals. There is a lamp post at the top of the hill. There are no proper stairs for this steep hill, so climbing it is a bit difficult. However, every day hundreds of people go to the hill and visit Mallesuvarara. It is believed that staying here will cure diseases as there are good herbs in this mountain. This ancient temple belongs to the Pandya period.
