It was the summer of 2021, and wildfires were burning a very large part of Northern Evia, Parnitha mountain and the Peloponesse, in Greece. A few months later, I got to visit one of these places. Walking amongst the burnt trees, Nature’s pain and extended disaster formed a green leaf of hope for our Mother, a wishful rebirth.

“Beyond the horizon” is a music work which combines piano, string pads, celtic harp, acoustic guitar, flute and voices.
It contains three sections in a sequence of musical pieces with minimalistic and film music influences in its musical soundscape.
It is based on the core of the composer’s compositional world and carries out a path of inner exploration and active dialogue with words and voices.
The course of the project leads to the bright extensions of the optimistic, creative breath exuded by our world through its various expressions.
“Beyond the horizon” is dedicated to Ennio Morricone.
