I try and keep things positive and happy on this channel, because typically it is such a positive and happy life that I get to live. Occasionally, and unfortunately, this life comes with some challenges and struggles, and this time they came flooding in all at once like a tsunami of disaster. I enjoy challenge in my life, and often I function best under a certain amount of adversity, but this one has pushed me a little more than usual, and I made it through with the help of you all and the WONDERFUL folks that support on Patreon. I wanted to make this video and thank everybody for their help, and to clear up some common misconceptions about Patreon. I am so dedicated to making this channel successful, that it is literally my only focus in life, and trust me that is not a complaint. When I lost my job as a Video Producer for Princess Cruises, dues to Covid - I lost the thing I was most proud of. For months I felt I had lost my purpose in life, and all of the things I had worked so hard for. Then finally i gave my head a shake and decided to make this life worth living again, and I set out on my journey as an Adventure Film Maker on YouTube. It has been a long haul, with a lot of risk, but this summer I am finally seeing the potential, and I know I will make this work. I take time now to pat myself on the back and to be proud, but none of it would be possible without each and every one of you. If you guys didn't enjoy the videos, I wouldn't be able to continue forward.
