5 GPU Old Desktop Computer Bitcoin Mining Rig

Expansion board allowed me to install 5 graphic cards on old desktop computer and mine bitcoin with this easy to build set up. No scratching my head how to connect all the components together. Entire process was very easy and the rig was operational within 2 hours.

Setting up a GPU rig is pretty much the only way old computer desktop can be usefull in mining cryptocurencies. With just 4 new components I managed to turn old, fairly useless desktop into bitcoin mining machine.

6 GPU build in the works :). I will drop short video when finished :).
04/22/18 update on 6 GPU rig. Attempts were unsuccessful for now. I have tried it with 2 desktop models. Both accepted only 5 GPUs. Good enough for me (for now) because of my PSU limitations. If anyone had any success with 6 or 7 please share :)
