The book is about the unique and holistic working process of Claudy Jongstra. She uses natural dyes, mainly from self harvested plants, to paint the fabrics that form the basis for her work. The book is printed with a special mix of colors based on those natural ingredients. The separate inks have been made visible throughout the book, ‘decomposing’ the images to reveal the way Jongstra’s colors interact.
