Pentax K-5 Review: The Perfect Beach DSLR (under $200!)

The Pentax K-5 was a flagship release in 2010. It retailed for $1,600 at the time. 12 years later in 2022 you can get it for about a tenth of that. For under $200, you get a 16 megapixel APS-C sensor, a magnesium alloy body, and significant weather sealing that takes great pictures.

Pair it with the inexpensive SMC DA 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 DC WR for the ultimate travel DSLR kit that you can take through any conditions without thinking twice. The inexpensive SMC DA 35mm F2.4 and DA 50mm F1.8 screw drive primes are also shown in this video.
