Do you ever feel like life is coming at you too fast and things are coming at you from all sides? It might seem hard to keep up with all the stress, demands, and challenges coming your way, but don't give up - just run with it. ❤️

If there's one thing Ladybug and Cat Noir have to do a lot - it's run. 😅

Even though they have magical powers and super fighting abilities, they still have to do a lot of running, whether from deadly blasts, crazed villains, or to give themselves time to come up with a new plan.

Sometimes there's nothing you can do to change the situations you're in, but what matters is that you keep moving forward. It's okay to take a break and catch your breath now and then, but don't let your current fears or struggles discourage you from finding a new direction and trying again.

"So take that risk" - this line...as an older sister...always gives me pause, because obviously some risks (as evidenced by the episode Risk 😅😉) are not a good idea, and it's important to be cautious and careful before making any sudden decisions, but danger aside, if you've been wanting to do something but waited because you're too afraid of messing up or having people think less of you - now is the time to take that leap! Remember - "Failure's not your enemy, your fears are."
It's okay to make mistakes, we learn from those, but you'll never learn if you never try.

(Something I tell myself constantly but still stay stuck paralyzed by indecision 😏😆 I'm working on it tho!)
This song was really encouraging to me, and a great inspiration for the new year.

It's easy to get caught in a cycle of daily tasks or distractions and feel like you're going nowhere, while at the same time life seems to be going by way too fast and everything is slipping through your fingers.

But when a herd of zoo animals starts trying to trample you, what do you do? Run! When you're surrounded by an army of little red gremlin things, what do you do? Run!
Give yourself time to figure out a better solution, and don't let all their destruction and distractions stop you from accomplishing your goals.

One thing I love about Ladybug and Cat Noir is their relentless optimism in the face of all this chaos. Sure, they both have moments when they fail, and struggle, and need support, but overall, they keep a positive attitude and run with a smile. We can do that too. 💖

Instead of focusing on how quickly things are changing, cherish the good moments - every second, every smile, and make them last. What was something that made you smile this week? 💖

I kinda like how 2:47-3:01 is a little more clashy and makes it seem less natural and cohesive, kinda like how at first you're just reacting and running and trying to avoid all the obstacles that are hurtling at you, but then in 3:02-3:32 is more melodic and cheerful and embraces the idea of running rather than trying to fight it.

That was my interpretation anyway. 😁😊 (Cuz yes, I thought about it way too much 😆😉)

One more thing this song reminded me of - a verse from the Bible, Hebrews 12:1-2

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God."

The previous chapter had been talking about other faithful believers who have already passed into heaven and "finished the race of life" so to speak, and we can be encouraged knowing God will help us in the same way he helped them.

It's such a great reminder to let go of the things that are weighing you down and hindering your progress, whether sin or just normal distractions, and the way to succeed is by keeping our focus on Jesus the perfect example, and we will find joy too. ❤️

And when your strength starts to fail and you feel like you can't run anymore:

"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar with wings like eagles; they shall run and not grow weary, they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31"
