The Residency Hotel organised a Cake Mixing Ceremony on 8th October In the presence of hotel staff and guests.
Headed by the General Manager of The Residency, Mr Rakesh and their Executive Chef Ganesh, the guests and hotel staff were seen enjoying themselves at the cake mixing ceremony.
Ingredients such as almonds, cashew nuts, dates, cherries, walnuts were mixed with rum, whiskey and brandy along with some cinnamon and cardamom to form the batter for the cake.
This batter will be left alone for nearly two months where the ingredients will soak the flavours and aromas of each other.
The batter will then be baked in the first week of December and will be sold to the public from 15th December 2018 onwards.
