Hey everyone, welcome back to our Cebu adventures! Buckle up, because things got a little...interesting on our way to Osmeña Peak.

We rented a scooter, all excited to see the views from the top. We were cruising through the mountains when BAM! The road just...ended. It turned into a muddy, uphill mess, and let's just say our little scooter wasn't exactly built for off-roading.

We were about to turn back when three local guys on motorbikes appeared, offering help. Now, I'm usually wary of strangers, especially when they're offering rides on motorbikes (and separating me from JJ!), but we were stuck.

So, we took a leap of faith and hopped on. Big mistake. The road got even slicker, and next thing I know, I'm on the ground with a sore elbow, and JJ is nowhere to be seen. Five very tense minutes later, he finally showed up, and we decided to ditch the extra help and continue on our own (after thanking the guys and giving them some cash, of course).

Let's just say the whole experience left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths, and we definitely weren't feeling the peak vibes anymore. But hey, travel isn't always sunshine and rainbows, right?

To end on a positive note, the rest of the day was incredible! We headed back to Moalboal beach and went snorkeling with MILLIONS of sardines. It was like swimming in a living, shimmering cloud! We even saw a few turtles.
