I got a lot of great requests from my Patreon subscribers and here's the first: Blue and Lonesome by Little Walter with the amazing team of Luther Tucker and Freddie Robinson on guitar. Tucker's fluttering but fierce tremelo picking has been a challenge for guitarists for a long time-- good luck and I'll help you as best as I can with some right hand tips. I concentrate especially on the intro and a lot of what happens in the rest of the song is in a nutshell in the intro. Interestingly, they took a 'shortcut' intro of 8 bars-- I love those type of arrangements. (The Stone's version adopted this shortcut during the harmonica solo-- thankfully imho because I like the song and the vibe of the "Blue and Lonesome" record in general EXCEPT I find the harp to be woefully lacking.)
