Land Rover gear selectors come in two types: dial and stick.
Since manual shifting is not possible with the dial type, you must use a paddle shift on the steering wheel.
The stick type allows manual shifting, but depending on the vehicle, you can also use a paddle shift on the steering wheel.
Paddle shift was not applied to some stick type vehicles.
