Since moving from England to Florida, we’ve experienced so many little culture shocks that we never expected. We used to live in British military housing in the UK, so moving into a Florida neighbourhood has been a completely different way of life.

In this video, I’m just walking around our neighbourhood and pointing out some of the everyday differences we’ve noticed between life in the UK and life here in the US — from how houses are built, to neighbourhood layouts, to the general way of life.

These aren’t bad or good, just very different, and it’s been such an interesting adjustment for us as Brits living in America.
