On Thursday, September 12, Administrator Isabel Guzman and Federal Trade Commission Chair Lina Khan met for a fireside chat to discuss initiatives to promote small business competitiveness through regulatory change and enforcement.

The discussion followed the 2024 annual meeting of the SBA’s Regional Regulatory Fairness Board. The board consists of up to 50 volunteer small business owners serving as members across SBA’s 10 regions. Board members advise the SBA National Ombudsman on matters of federal regulatory concern to small businesses.
