Spend some time to watch this video if you want to know what it's like to climb Mt.Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia and the SOP after covid pandemic.

It's more challenging than I'm expect, especially raining when climbing. You easily to get sick and your body need extra energy to generate heat due to cooler temperature.

Remember to bring umbrella, rain coat and bag cover to avoid from getting wet and sick. A good trekking shoes is needed to keep you safe from those slippery surface and bright head lamp is needed to give you a better vision on 2nd days of climbing.

If you able to walk around 12hours in a day, Mt.Kinabalu definitely ain't a problem for you.

Please do not hesitate to rent a porter because it will ease your journey a lot!
