Catonsville, Maryland Fourth of July 2021 Fireworks (7/3/21)

Описание к видео Catonsville, Maryland Fourth of July 2021 Fireworks (7/3/21)

The complete July 4th 2021 fireworks show in Catonsville, Maryland, specifically at Catonsville High School. The actual fireworks start at 5:53. Grand Finale starts at 43:56.

Because the fireworks last year was canceled due to Covid-19, the fireworks this year was 48 minutes long--the longest and best fireworks show on the East Coast! I definitely was not disappointed! They started 15 minutes early due to storms rolling in, and it did start raining a little during the show, but it wasn't too bad.

Also, the fireworks show this year was held on Saturday, July 3rd, because the 4th fell on a Sunday. Apparently some places do the parades and fireworks a day early if July 4th is on a Sunday because they can't get road closure permits due to people trying to go to church (from what people say on facebook). I was able to attend Columbia, Maryland's fireworks show on the 4th, so I was able to see TWO fireworks shows! I will upload the Columbia fireworks this week.

Also of note, this is the first time I am filming in 60 frames per second! I'm using an android phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 8), and it will only allow filming in 60 fps for 10 minutes at a time. I had to stitch the clips together in post. That will explain why I randomly snap my fingers a few times in the video, so that I can sync up the video to audio of my separate (better) microphone (just in case anybody wondered). I did notice a few times where there was some frame dropping issues due to filming in 60 fps...I later found the solution was to turn off Video Stabilization in the camera settings, so next year's video will be better.
