Well, I did this three weeks and change ago, presented it for developer review first; never got a response - so I'm going to post it because it rounds out the new Bounties and because I am too lazy to do another take tonight. Long weekend.

Anyway, so - Giganta with a Fire Tank.

This is a fight where you need stamina, more than pretty much anything else. As a Fire Tank, most of her attacks aren't going to kill you outright (provided that you heal Constantly); but she does deal a TREMENDOUS amount of damage, so make sure you heal CONSTANTLY. If you're running a Controller-based build, it's going to change the landscape of this fight a lot.

Giganta fights with Brawling and uses a lot of variable range energy attacks. While you really shouldn't linger in front of her for long you can actually get a lot of mileage out of the Counter game in this fight - mostly because her Abilities force you to maintain a close proximity to her, so you might as well lean into it. It disrupt her offensive paces and gives you a damage boost, as well.

Her Abilities are fairly varied and actually make her a potential challenge in a number of ways. She can call in robots, which she does Constantly. As long as you kill these off when they arrive, you'll be fine.

She uses an Orbital, which deals a tremendous amount of damage. She has an eye beam, which isn't usually fatal, but can add up quickly with her other output since she is quite aggressive. There's another odd Ability that seems to target one person specifically, a flash appears underneath them - pow, damage.

There's also a giant stomp (aside from the Brawling combo Stomp) Ability - it knocks everything down. Pretty simply, not all that threatening, but you may want to Block or Roll on breakout. The weirdest Ability (and the reason why I switched to the Sword) is the circle pull.

It's a 360 circular pull, but it only activates if you're in the red band. If you get hit by it, however, it does deal a huge amount of damage in one shot and drops you off at Giganta's feet. This attack is pretty much the reason why I abandoned Range attacks in this fight.

Not a lot of extra moving parts to this fight. Either you can avoid her attacks, outlive her attacks, or out Counter her attacks - or you can't. It's reasonably pass-fail in that respect. Aside from that, however, I wouldn't Rate Giganta as too difficult to deal with - I beat her before I beat Manta, and this is only my second attempt at the fight. Bailed on the first attempt because of unwanted company. This fight is considerably harder for a non-Tank build, but other people have already demonstrated that it's not impossible to do.

Giganta has a Counter Feat, and a Voltron Counter Feat - in addition to the 8 Marks and Large Loot Crate.
