i. People cannot see when you check their activity on Instagram. Instagram does not track when users view someone's profile, posts, or stories. The only way someone can know that you have viewed their profile is if you have liked or commented on one of their posts, or if you have sent them a direct message.

However, there are a few ways to see when someone has viewed your activity on Instagram. If you have a business profile, you can see how many people have viewed your profile, posts, and stories in the Insights tab. If you want to see your recent activity on Instagram, you can now do so by going to your profile and tapping on the *hamburger menu* in the top right corner. You can also use the *Insights* tab to see more detailed information about your activity on Instagram. To access Insights, go to your profile and tap on the *hamburger menu* in the top right corner. Then, select **Insights**. Insights will show you information about your followers, reach, engagement, and more.

iii. There are a few reasons why you might not be able to see when someone was last active on Instagram.

*The person has their activity status turned off.* Instagram users can choose to show or hide their activity status, which includes when they were last online. If the person you're trying to see their activity status for has their activity status turned off, you won't be able to see it.

If they're online, their profile picture will have a green dot next to it. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that they've been active on Instagram recently. They could have just opened the app to check their notifications.
