It seemed our daily was composed of hanging out
Looking for something to do
No cells, no cars, no weed, no brew
Nothing new
Sat around joking
Shooting the shit and waiting
Hoping for something to happen
Steady slacking
Mind aching

Kicking the hacky sack
The sun shawn brightly
It continued in the suburbs
Both daily and nightly
Behind the plaza

No deniro to spend
Nobody ever had a buck to spare or even to lend

Jump over a fence to catch a bit of of swim
Or in a fountain laughing and bouncing as the night would begin
We'd find a way to spend our time making the giggles laugh

Kicking a can wishing we had a vehicle
