Creating A Vaulted Ceiling With Exposed Roof Beams in the UK

I've been asked by several clients to explore how to create a vaulted ceiling and expose existing roof beams and trusses. This is my guide to how this could be done in the UK, as you will see it's not simple, especially if you want to expose an existing roof truss.
