Mansfield Road Tunnel, closed and left to ruin since 1968 once the Great Central Railway closed to rail traffic forever.

In this video we take the oppertunity to descend into the depths of Nottingham and walk the full length of this once busy mainline tunnel. Beggining at the site of Carrington Station, by the Northern portal, we follow the tunnel via its full route before appearing at the Southern Portal & the former site of Nottingham Victoria Railway Station, closed in 1966.

Filled with historic images and actual footage, and set to a absorbing soundtrack, this is THE Mansfield Road Tunnel Explore.
