Metal detecting at Huntington Beach is crazy because you have to take a number! I was one of 10 people searching the sand for treasure! Any find with that much competition is a good day! Caught some surfing action at the end with my Nikon and zoom lens.

I feel HB is one of the most detected beaches in SoCal and you can literally go 20 minutes between finds and most of those are trash. It is also one of the most visited beaches as well so there are still some great finds to be had but timing is everything!
