Описание к видео Training on IC Design and Semiconductor Processing

Join us as we recap the successful 4-week Industrial Training Program on IC Design and Semiconductor Processing, organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research from July 15 to August 09, 2024.

This intensive training program was meticulously designed to provide students with hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of cutting-edge technologies in the semiconductor industry. The program covered four main modules:
1. Digital IC Design using Verilog
2. FPGA Prototyping with Altera DE1 Boards
3. Principles of CMOS VLSI Design
4. Real-Time Semiconductor Processes

Students gained practical exposure to key semiconductor processes such as Silicon Wafer Identification and Cleaning, Oxidation, Photolithography, Sputtering, Thermal Evaporation, and Micro-welding.

A total of 22 students from Gurugram University, Seth Jai Prakash Polytechnic, and Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research participated, making the program a hub of collaborative learning and exchange of ideas.

The program was led by our esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Vijay Kumar Anand, HoD, Automation & Robotics, Dr. Meenu Rani, HoD, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Dr. Karamvir Singh, Scientist, ACSR whose dedication and expertise ensured a rich learning experience for all.

The Valedictory Ceremony on August 09, 2024, marked the culmination of this program, with Dr. Ashawant Gupta, Director, ACE, as the Chief Guest. Distinguished guests including Dr. Kamal Kumar Sharma (Principal, ACE), Gp. Capt. C.S. Sharma (Registrar, ACE), Air Veteran Ajay Pal Singh (Training & Placement Officer, ACE), and others graced the occasion, congratulating the students and wishing them a bright future in semiconductor technology.
