Having limited storage in my home, I find that collapsible pet carriers are the best kind for me. When this one is not in use, it can lie flat and take up very little space.

The bag has a top handle but also an optional shoulder strap. The shoulder strap is almost necessary for my largest cat. There is a small zippered pocket on the outside of the bag that works really well for storing the shoulder strap when not in use.

One end of the bag unzips to allow my cat access and the other end unzips partially. Both doors or closures are made of a heavy duty mesh. One side of the bag is also mesh, as is the top. This allows my cats visibility on all but one side.

The bottom is flat and a pad for the bottom is included. The pad is smooth on one side and fuzzy on the other. I have one cat prefers to massage and knead anything fuzzy. When first introduced to this bag, he imediately got in and started massaging the pad.

For some reason this bag is very popular with both of my cats. One cat tends to just sit by it and guard it whenever I have it out.

The size of this bag is perfect for my cats and would also work for a small dog. The bag measures approximately 17" by 10" by 13" high. The construction looks good and solid with reinforced stitching on the handles and straps. The zippers all work well. The removable pad is washable.
