"A woman, if she travels in a women''s coach, she will be much more at home and much more comfortable than in a man''s compartment where people will be looking at her or she may feel uncomfortable. There are certain factors which nobody can stop, because basic human, as I said people are both literate as well as illiterate, both mature as well as immature. So you cannot segregate those people, but yes you can segregate the women. You can make them secure."

Female only trains have been launched in India as a way of combating sexual harassment for women using the railway.
The problems of taunting and groping of female commuters are so persistent, the government has decided to remove men altogether from some services .
