Newly-elected Senate President Tito Sotto promised to push for a cooperative but independent Senate as he took the Senate's top post earlier today. Sotto also confirmed that Sen. Panfilo Lacson will replace Sen. Rodante Marcoleta as chairman of the Blue Ribbon Committee amid its probe on "ghost" and "substandard" flood control projects.
