Unique level changing mechanics (light dictactes whether
platforms exist or not, and the girl companion can see new parts of the level if she's close by)
A nice moody / mysterious soundtrack and story
The levels are interesting
I found it surprising that even though the girl is about a second or two behind you while following she manages to make most of the jumps and follows you quite well.

This game is in EARLY ACCESS so don't take these negatives too seriously
The movement controls were not favorable to me, I did not like how you kept moving for a few seconds even after you let go of the arrow keys, and I also did not like how your jump height seemed to be lowered if you are running
It was sometimes hard to read the story text as you were focused on the stage itself
I felt like visually the stages could improve a bit, perhaps some more things in the background or perhaps adding a rain effect would add to the mood.

~ I felt like it could have benefited greatly if there was a narrator in the game
