Viewers are treated to the second appearance of the San Francisco-based improvisational comedy group "The Committee." From The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour broadcast of December 15, 1968 on CBS-TV.

The Committee, named in reference to the House Un-American Activities Committee, first opened on April 10, 1963, at 622 Broadway in a 300-seat Cabaret theater that used to be an indoor bocce ball court in San Francisco's North Beach.

The first appearance of "The Committee" on the Smothers Brothers' variety series was the broadcast of November 17, 1968. A separate video clip of this performance is available here:
