"A Celebration Of Life - Lydia Corbett Sylvette David"

When I was 17 (in 1995), I made a documentary film about Lydia Corbett also known as Sylvette David. I made it as part of my A-Level art course at King Edward VI College in Totnes. Lydia is an artist, and when she was younger and still known as Sylvette, she was a model for Picasso. She became known as the girl with the ponytail. This documentary followed Lydia's life while she was preparing for a show in London. She shares the details of her life with Picasso, and her journey to becoming an artist in her own right. The documentary begins as Lydia starts a new painting in her home studio, and culminates with the opening of her latest show. I had this doc lying around on an old VHS tape, and I thought I should transfer and upload it, as it would otherwise cease to exist, with the deterioration of the VHS tape.
