To celebrate the ten year anniversary of Hotline Miami (2012), we are hosting this level rave from September 24rd to October 21st.

Participants are allowed to make one or more levels based in the theme of the first Hotline Miami;
using pre-prepared furniture, tiles, enemies and other assets to recreate that feel.

Submitted levels will be compiled into a campaign by the judges — all participants will be rightly credited on the Steam Workshop page.
(A folder of the campaign will also be posted for non-Steam users).

RULES AND GUIDELINES:

Participants are only allowed to make levels using Jacket (including all masks) or Biker.
You can not use furniture from HLM2 in your level. DM a judge if you need clarification.
Players are only allowed to fight against Mafia, along with a small selection of special enemies listed below.
Participants are able to use NP++ to add custom furniture, special effects and special enemies if they wish.
Participants can request custom lighting and smoke effects for their level if so desired. Contact a judge if so.
Participants are only allowed to use the tracks given to them on the music list.
No cutscenes allowed in combat levels, though you can request specific NPC's from Hotline Miami to act as set pieces.
Optionally, you can write out your own phone conversation that will be added in your level's intro sequence.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Make your single level according to the provided guidelines. Post a folder of your finished single level in #ratworks for the judges to play.
2.) Send one of the judges a DM of your custom 50B phone message for them to add into your intro cutscene. Don't forget to include a custom cover for your level too if you wish.
3.) Let the judges know your Steam profile to be added as a contributor. If you do not have one we will name you in the description.
4.) Contestants must post their project in #ratworks, and two days before the 10th anniversary date (October 23rd) at the latest. Discus
