In this video, I will be solving the "Count the Substring" problem from GFG Practice - Problem Of The Day. This problem has been asked on GeeksForGeeks POTD on 15th January 2023. This problem has a Hard tag on the GeeksForGeeks platform. I started solving this with the naive till the efficient solutions to this problem in Java.

Problem: Given a binary string S consists only of 0s and 1s. The task is to calculate the number of substrings that have more 1s than 0s.

Approach: We will be using a merge sorting approach to solve this problem.
