New PNW mountain biking trails built in the Naneum Ridge State Forest. In the PNW, just outside of Ellensburg, WA, there's a new mountain biking trail system being mostly hand built by volunteers. This little gem is found in the Naneum Ridge State Forest.

Just over 11 miles of new mountain bike trails have been completed with another 22 miles planned for a total of 33. The PNW has so many mountain bike opportunities. In the Naneum Ridge State Forest, there'll be trails built specifically for beginner, intermediate and advanced riders. There are several areas of dispersed camping, but the state is planning to make some of those areas campgrounds with vault toilet bathrooms. Two such bathrooms were installed in June of 2021. There are several doubletrack trails closed to vehicular traffic and green dot roads that can be linked up with singletrack for epic days of long mileage or some sweet shuttle access for downhill laps all day. When you're done riding, head back to the campground and enjoy some good food and a frosty beverage of your choice. The trails system is great for beginners and groups of mixed abilities.

New pnw mountain bike trail names are Naneum Ridge Connector Section 1 & 2, Lower Naneum Ridge – Green Loop, Cowabunga Doubletrack, Cow Pond Traverse, Up the Middle, Bucking Chute.
