How to replace the ignition switch on the Volvo 850, S70, V70, XC70, C70, etc. - VOTD

Ignition switch replacement: 15 to 60 minutes.

If you all the sudden have multiple electrical problems, there is a good chance that you have a bad ignition switch. These problems include, car won't shift our of park, windows will not roll down, turn signals don't work (flasher do), lights don't work, etc. Usually wiggling the key will help, but things usually get worse.

This video will show you how to remove the ignition switch on a Volvo 850. It's a common problem for these cars to develop electrical problems with things not working due to a bad ignition electrical switch. Should also work for the Volvo S70, V70, and XC70 cars.
