You guys said you missed my OG videos and I’m listening! 😆

When I started this account, I built it doing achievable activities daily with my kids. I still believe wholeheartedly in the value of these activities and we do them AS OFTEN as we possibly can. They make my teacher heart happy, the girls LOVE them and ask for them if we skip a day, and it’s my favorite way to bond with them 🥰

But adding sweet Fin to our family last year changed everything (for the better!) But it’s taken time for us to get back in the swing of things and define a new routine as a family of 5.

Daily, structured activities was one of the first things that took a hit as we navigated through the newborn phase and sleep deprivation. I focused on more independent activities (cue my new morning bins! 😆) and we all loved them just as much!

But we’re ready. Life gets easier after a new baby. Things seem to fall into place with time. (It took us 14 months!) Postpartum hormones balance out. Your family will start to thrive again instead of just surviving.

I’m so excited to continue sharing our daily routines and how we are finding the perfect balance of structured learning and unstructured play for our family.

All while we finally decide if we’re homeschooling or not! I’m SO GLAD we have one more year to figure it out and explore all our options.

But we are certainly leaning HEAVILY a certain way…😆

I have things planned this upcoming school year to give us a taste of how home education would work in our family. And I’m planning to share it all.
