When we say Kalona SuperNatural is "Beyond Organic" we mean two things.

1. Minimal processing of organic milk that leaves it the way nature intended it to be as much as possible.

2. How the milk is produced in a way that helps heal the environment.

"Organic" is focused on not poisoning the environment but "regenerative" goes further to take specific actions that help heal the environment.

"Healing" includes increasing the depth or organic soil matter, the health of the plants so they produce more nutrient dense foods, and capturing more water in the soil to prevent loss of top-soil and pollution of rivers, lakes and the ocean.

One of the ways farmers do this is through holistic managed grazing. The easiest way to understand this is that they divide pastures into smaller paddocks. Then the cows are moved from one to the next as much as 1 or 2 times per day. They do not return to the original paddock until the pasture plants have had enough time to fully regrow including letting their roots grow very deep.

This adds to their overall health and allows more minerals to cycle and water to penetrate more deeply into the ground.

When you are in stores, you probably look for organic milk that is #AlmostRaw by being non-homogenized and VAT/Batch Pasteurized.

You can also look for organic milk from grass-fed cows on small family farms that use "regenerative methods."
