Hi! In this video I did an intrinsic value analysis for Oracle, which is one of the biggest tech companies in the world. Oracle is up 70% over the last year while the stock market has increased 16%. This company is competing in the tech industry, and they have recently reported earnings results for the first quarter of FY2024. I used a relativistic valuation model in Microsoft Excel to try and figure out what the intrinsic value of Oracle would be based on the financial ratios of their business. I also looked into the income statement, the balance sheet, and the cash flow statement to get a sense of how much debt they currently have as well as if they'll grow their profits in the future and also to identify what a good buying price would be for Oracle from a value investing perspective.

Business Model
Oracle sells database software, cloud systems, and business enterprise software products including ERP software, CRM software, and supply chain management software. Oracle sells their products to the private and public sector. Some examples of how customers use Oracle’s software products can be found in:
1) Software companies that offer their software as a service using Oracle’s cloud
2) Banks that run banking applications using Oracle’s database machine
3) Accounting teams that use Oracle Fusion ERP for financial planning and bookkeeping
Oracle sells its software products using subscription models and one time purchase models. One of their most popular products is Java, which is one of the computer industry’s most popular programming languages.

1) Revenue of $12.5 billion up 9% from $11.4 billion year over year
2) Cloud revenue of $4.6 billion up 30% year over year
3) Net income of $2.4 billion up 60% from $1.5 billion year over year
4) Operating Cash Flow of $7 billion up 9% year over year
5) Free Cash Flow of $5.7 billion up 21% year over year
