Nike Sportswear will be introducing a new Nike Dunk High PRM “Dark Curry” colorway as part of a larger Nike Dunk lineup releasing throughout 2021.

Dressed in a Velvet Brown, Dark Russet, Dark Curry, and Sail color scheme. This Nike Dunk High features a suede base with shaggy overlays as suede is also used on the Swooshes and and rear pull tab. A White midsole atop a Sail rubber outsole completes the design.

2021 may just be the year for Nike’s Dunk High. Slated to release later this month is a Dunk High PRM dressed in a “Dark Russet” colorway.

Although no official images have surfaced as of yet, we get a first look at the forthcoming model courtesy of @py_rates . The model is constructed with a suede base and shaggy overlays, the former spotlighted on the Swoosh insignias and rear pull tab, while the latter makes up the majority of the midsection and eyestay. In terms of color scheme, this Dunk High sports “Velvet Brown,” “Dark Russet,” “Dark Curry,” and “Sail” accents throughout. Rounding out the final details is a white midsole and “Sail” rubber outsole.

The Nike Dunk High PRM “Dark Russet” is set to release on January 28 at select retailers and Nike.com for $120.

First seen shortly before its launch in Asia, the Nike Dunk High “Dark Russet” continues its rollout across Europe on February 6th. Although arguably more appropriate for a fall release, the forthcoming pair delivers shades of brown that’ll complement any brighter, spring-ready ensemble. A dark velvet base is overlaid with lighter earth tones, while profile swooshes add a bronze-reminiscent tone into the mix. Labels on the tongue also indulge in the “Dark Russet” medley, but present a “White” backdrop to the North American company’s iconic logo. Midsoles also opt for a “colorless” makeup, but the Air Jordan 1-like outsole deviate ever-so-slightly with their off-white arrangement. A stateside Nike SNKRS launch is likely in the works, but that’ll occur after the Dunk High‘s run in Europe, which begins on February 6th.

In recent times, it’s become evident that Nike wants its iconic Dunk elevated to the same cult-like status as the Air Jordan 1. Both designed by Peter Moore, the silhouettes share similarities in both DNA and popularity. And what the Dunk lacks in terms of a marquee athlete behind it, it makes up for in arguably the most creative and sought-after collaborations in history, by-way-of Nike SB. The next to appear is this Premium Nike Dunk High “Dark Russet”, which lives up to its luxe name through immaculate construction and fine fabrications.

Uppers of smooth Velvet Brown suede host shaggy overlays of the titular hue. Swooshes, which arrives in a suede shag somewhere between the two aforementioned, pop in Dark Curry, and it all rests atop a white and sail sole unit.

Nike will continue their rollout of the Dunk High into next year with a handful of premium renditions dropping in the new year which includes this brand new “Dark Cury” rendition.

While 2020 was all about the Dunk Low, that trend will still continue but the High rendition will be increasing its new takes as well as Nike looks to further the demand for the silhouette. This rendition is dressed in Velvet Brown, Dark Russet, Dark Curry, and Sail and features a full suede upper that included smooth and shaggy suede. Featuring an autumn-inspired colorway, whether this drops in the Fall or not, expect next Thanksgiving to see a decent surge in demand for the brand new sneaker.
