ZhongLi is Disappointing, Underpowered, and Underwhelming | Day 1 of Testing | Genshin Impact Math

We hate to say this because we really wanted Zhongli to be one the best characters in Genshin Impact. But his numbers are just so low. He doesn't provide much damage to a team while providing worse energy gen and not nearly enough tankiness to compensate for this.

Is he the worst character in Genshin Impact? Not by a long shot. Is he the worst 5 star? We'd say Yes based on all the testing and math crunched by ourselves as well as many other theorycrafters and testers we've talked to over the first day of testing.

If you already have Zhongli, you CAN make him work and he can be good with investment. But that's the same for every character in the game. Strong characters get more output out of the same investment as weaker characters, and he doe not. He simply does not have 5 star power level numbers and at least at the moment WE DO NOT RECOMMEND PULLING FOR HIM.

Maybe, and thats a BIG maybe, after more testing we'll see we missed something but every calculation and test so far shows that he is criminally underpowered and simply not worth your primogems if you care about his power level.

Don't pull for Zhongli unless you really just like him. He is Geo Hobo Archon Daddy and his animations are SO SLICK and his voice makes Jinx very happy. But he's so underpowered and not worth $356 of primo investment.
