Another unique Lincoln that is being offered is this Lincoln Zephyr Model 96H-76 with a 267 cubic-inch V12 engine making 140 horsepower. Once again Ford through its premier Lincoln brand, raised the bar on engine performance and engineering with a stronger driveshaft torque tube, beefed up differential housing, along with engine crankshaft upgrades and larger valves. External styling changes included a raised hood line, a new grille with vertical bars, and running boards that were concealed by extending the bottoms of the doors and quarter panels. The front bumper was given an open center section that allowed greater airflow. The instrument panel was redesigned. During the year, custom interior options became available, with color-keyed fabrics and bronze-trimmed fittings and ornaments. This 1939 Lincoln-Zephyr Convertible Coupe was was restored by Kevin Westmoreland for Mr. Dingman, the cars previous owner. It received a full body-off rebuild at his Cleveland, Georgia shop. The outcome is exceptional. The car attended the Ford Motor Company centenary celebrations in Dearborn, Michigan in 2003. Only three percent of 1939 Lincoln-Zephyrs were convertible coupes. This is a chance to acquire one of the best examples that has been beautifully restored by a marque expert.
