Screwdriver (Phillips #00) and fingernails only - use a plastic pry tool if you prefer.

Tearing Down the Vita 1000 to give it a new faceplate, screen, and joysticks. This is a complete teardown. A following video will be the reconstruction with the new faceplate and reconstructed analog sticks from another video.

I'm getting this white Vita to excellent condition to be ready for modding it's battery and giving it usb-c and hopefully fast charging in future videos.
