BUILDING A NEW HOME
In this episode of "Building From The Ground Up" local Charlotte REALTOR® Roger Holloway discovers that the framing crew has begun to erect the second-story house wall panels. But, first, building the 2nd story floor system must happen before the wall panel erection upstairs. Best way to frame? It looks like these factory-controlled wall panels provide accurate walls. Taking the lumber from the ground and framing second-story floor joists using the I-joist and Versalam components is what has just happened when we arrived at the job site. In the popular video "The "right" way to joist a second floor", that builder's discussion is about stick-framing onsite as opposed to how our builder is using I-joists and Versalam.
