Austin Police are investigating an international crime ring that targeted Austin City Limits Music Festival. Authorities believe a half-dozen people worked together to steal approximately 1,000 cell phones from festival attendees. Police say five people have been arrested but more suspects are involved.

So far 290 stolen cell phones have been recovered and 100 have been returned to their owners. APD arrested two men last week related to this case.

The latest arrests include three more individuals. Jenny Gomez, 30, Lidi Mora Morena, 35, and John Diaz-Albarracin, 34, face a third-degree felony charge of Engaging in Organized Crime.
