•Basically ECAT stands for Engineering College Admission test.

•E-CAT test is required to get admission in top Government Engineering Universities of Pakistan.

Edibility criteria \ how to calculate merit
At least 62 percent total percentage is required to get admission in engineering University.
Formula 2022 Total Aggregate
FORMULA = obtain marks /total marks *percentage
Intermediate FSC: 70 %
Entry Test: 30%
Note: (Some universities add 10 percent marks of matric)

ECAT Registration date 2022 procedure and Fee
Starting from: 16th May
Ending on: 30th June
Fee
Amount Rs.1500/- as ECAT registration fee online 2022 and can be submitted at HBL branches by UET and you will get a token number.

Step 1: Go to UET admission official website
Step 2: Click on "Get Challan"
Step 3: Enter CNIC number, Name and Written Code
Step 4: Click on "Generate Challan"
After fee submission and adding token number an Admit Card will create.

Paper pattern For ECAT
Total Marks of ECAT Exam is 400 and paper will be Multiple Choice Questions based on the contents that students study during their intermediate education level.
• 30 MCQS (Physics ) = 120 Marks
• 30 MCQS (Mathematics ) = 120 Marks
• 30 MCQS (Chemistry/Computer Science/Statistics) = 120 Marks
• 10 MCQS (English) = 40 Marks
Total marks = 400
Note: Each MCQ will be of 4 marks
