Nathan Reich is a fantastic example of a truly DIY (do it yourself) folk singer and songwriter. He knows who he is and how he likes his music to be presented to audiences. Over the years he has built a long list of friends and dedicated fans that he can call upon to host a house show for him while touring. In return for this kind of real connection, audiences get to experience an evening with Nathan where they can truly interact with the artist and to dive deeper into the songs that Nathan writes.

We met up with Nathan at Griffin's Modern Motel. It's this huge amazing old house in Lexington that has been renovated and turned into an art space with studios upstairs and a big open space to gather on the first floor. Nathan performs his song "Old Friends," which he played again that evening during the house show we hosted for him at Griffin's Modern Motel. Both performances were fantastic by the way. Enjoy!
