Improving from my previous video about ASRS warehouse,
In this video, I will show you ASRS warehouse simulation in factory IO, and connect to PostgreSQL as database!
The Process:
1. Every incoming material is detected by a camera vision system, then read by Node-Red, and displayed on the dashboard.
2. When the Start Storage button on the dashboard is clicked, the system searches for the nearest available location and instructs the PLC to begin the storage process to the designated location.
3. After the pallet is stored in the rack, data is recorded in the database, including the material ID and storage timestamp.
4. When you want to retrieve material from the rack, select the material type, and the system will search for the material's rack location based on the FIFO (First-In-First-Out) rule. Click the Start Retrieving button to initiate the retrieval process.
5. The dashboard provides various information, including a Gauge showing the percentage of warehouse utilization, the total amount/value stored, data tables, and visualizations of the racks. I use SVG for displaying these visuals.
