A Day at Bikepark Winterberg

Hello everyone, today we will be biking at Winterberg bikepark. I rode with my father and some friends.

We arrived shortly after opening, it wasn’t busy yet. We started with two green trails, so up the Schneeuwittchen lift, and down the Fairy Trail and Snhneeuwittchen Trail.

We encountered a mountain bike lesson on the trail, however none of us managed to ride between the cones. We still have some work to do. Now back up to the top,

But we first discovered that on the panorama lift you need to step into the same car as your bike.

One of my favourite trails was the Loose Lee, it begins a bit into the North Shore trail. Soon we arrived at the road gap. After a quick inspection I decided not to do the road gap. Our coach Erik however did send it! There are also some drops for the scared like me.

Now it’s time to ride my favourite trail, north shore. This trail has a couple of optional gaps

I chose to skip the gaps the first couple times, but in the end I did them.

Next it was time to try the Downhill line 2.0 it also started from the North shore line.

We just about survived.

During the day, we also did quite a couple of runs down the Freeride line,

this trail is super fun! But a little bumpy. To finish the day off we decided to head down woodpecker and back to the fairy trail for a cool down lap.

Today was a lot of fun, It’s a great experience mountain biking at Winterberg.
